Q&A
A: Layering is key! I'd recommend a waterproof jacket since it can get chilly and damp out on the water. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you'll be on the boat for a long time. Bring a hat and sunglasses too; the glare off the water can be intense. Lastly, don’t forget to bring a light sweatshirt for when you're cruising through the fjords!
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but younger kids will need to be supervised. I've seen families with toddlers and older kids enjoying the tour. Just keep in mind that it's a long day, so if your kiddo isn't great on boats, it might be tough. The tour is suitable for all ages, but make sure they can handle the 8 hours on the water!
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tour provider usually reschedules or offers a full refund. I suggest calling them a day or two before to check the forecast. They’re super helpful in making arrangements if needed. Just keep an eye on your email for updates if you do book!

Just went on the Northwestern Glacier Tour and it was AMAZING!
Hey everyone! I just got back from the Full day Northwestern Glacier & Wildlife Tour from Seward and wow, it was unforgettable! We got super close to the tidewater glaciers, and the seals were totally adorable. The lunch they provided was surprisingly good too—definitely better than I expected! If you’re thinking of getting this as a gift or even doing it yourself, do it! Just remember to layer up because it gets cold on the water. My husband and I spent the whole day just in awe of the views and wildlife!
Thinking of gifting the glacier tour to my parents
Hi all! I'm considering getting this glacier tour for my parents' anniversary. They’ve always wanted to see Alaska's beauty, and this seems perfect. Has anyone done it recently? Any tips on the best times to go or how to book? I wanna make it special for them!
