Me as a guide i specifically target shoreline trophy fish. We will be using lures and flies to catch the Trevally. You will get to experience coastlines that many tourist haven't seen or have the opportunity to fish. You will be able to have beautiful views, a good easy to moderate hike on some old lava flows, sandy beaches and fish at the sametime. PLEASE CALL AND INQUIRE BEFORE YOU BOOK FOR FURTHER INFORMATION! Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the fishing day? Anything specific for the hike?

A: Definitely wear lightweight, breathable clothes since it's gonna be hot. Also, bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. They provide felt bottom water shoes, but I also recommend wearing quick-dry shorts and a swimsuit underneath just in case you want to jump in after catching a fish!

Q: Is there an age limit for participants? Can kids join?

A: Kids are welcome, but I’d say they should be at least 8 or 9 years old to really enjoy the fishing part. The guide is super accommodating and great with kids, just make sure they can handle hiking a bit! It’s all about having fun out there.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, the guide will work with you to reschedule. Safety comes first! Just make sure to call ahead and check the forecast, especially if you're planning for specific dates. They're really flexible if things go south.

Just got back from the fishing trip on Big Island and wow, what a day! The views were stunning, and we caught some nice Trevally. The guide was super knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having a great time. The hike brings you to some pretty hidden spots, too. Highly recommend it as a gift for any fishing enthusiast!
