Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this rafting trip?

A: Yes, kids can join in as long as they are at least 6 years old. The guides are really good with families and ensure everyone feels safe. Just keep in mind that some sections of the river can get pretty intense, so it’s best to chat with them if you’re unsure about your kid’s readiness!

Q: What should I wear for the full day rafting trip?

A: Dress in layers! You’ll want a swimsuit underneath since you’ll be hitting the water. A quick-dry shirt and shorts are great on top. Water shoes or sandals with straps are ideal too. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat for when you’re relaxing on the beach!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our trip?

A: If the weather looks dangerous, they’ll reschedule and give you options. Typically, they call you the night before if there’s a concern. Just make sure to check your email or phone the day before to be in the loop!

Thinking about gifting a full-day rafting trip in McCall, thoughts?

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the full-day rafting trip on the Salmon River as a birthday gift for my brother. Has anyone done this before? I love the idea of the gourmet lunch on the beach and the mix of relaxing and thrilling parts. But is it really fun for someone who’s not super into sports? How's the vibe?

Just got back from the full-day rafting trip at Salmon River!

OMG, we just did the full-day rafting trip last weekend and it was epic! The scenery is breathtaking, and the lunch was actually gourmet—like, who knew rafting could be so classy? 😂 The guides were super fun and shared awesome stories. Definitely a 10/10 experience!
