With 15+ years of faithful service, A1A Outdoor Center has earned the title, "Most Respected Tour" for a reason. We treat our guests like family. On this tour, you'll receive individual guidance as necessary to get into and out of your vessel, and get help with simple instructions.  No experience necessary.  And if you are an experienced paddler, we'll only help when asked. We'll enjoy relaxed manatee and dolphin viewing as well as other marine wildlife at your pace, paddling along natural mangrove shorelines, marine islands, and scenic tidal flats.  Frequent sightings include manatees, dolphins, jumping fish, otters, shore birds, diving birds, birds of prey (osprey, bald eagles) and occasionally bottom marine life such as crabs, rays, skates, fish and more.  No matter what the sightings though, you'll have a great time learning about Florida lagoons and enjoying a tranquil paddle in paradise.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the kayaking tour?

A: No, there isn’t a strict age limit, but I’d recommend kids around 7 and up will enjoy it more. Just make sure they can follow instructions and have a comfortable experience in the kayak. They might need a bit more assistance, but the guides are super helpful!

Q: What should we wear for this kayaking tour? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes. It can get wet, and you’ll want something comfy. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunglasses! Shoes that you don’t mind getting wet are a must too. Flip-flops work, but water shoes are better.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, A1A Outdoor Center is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just make sure to call ahead if you're worried about conditions. They want everyone to have a great time, so they’ll work with you to find a better day.

Thinking of gifting the kayak tour, opinions?

I’m considering this Fully Guided Kayaking Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature and marine life. The fact that it’s in Cape Canaveral makes it even better! Has anyone done this? How was the dolphin viewing? I wonder if it's suitable for older folks as well.

Anyone else feel nervous about kayaking with dolphins?

I really want to try the Fully Guided Kayaking Tour in Cape Canaveral, but I’m kinda nervous. What if the dolphins get too close? I don’t know how to kayak at all! Any tips or reassurance from folks who’ve gone before?
