Q&A
A: Great question! The sushi-making class is generally recommended for ages 12 and up, but younger kids can join if they’re with a participating adult. Chef Amira is really good about making it fun for all age groups, but keep in mind that sharp knives are involved, so supervision is key.
A: You’ll definitely want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy. An apron is provided, so it should help! But I recommend wearing something that you can easily move in. Also, closed-toe shoes are a good idea since you'll be working in a kitchen environment.
A: Yes, rescheduling is usually allowed, but it’s best to check with Classpop! directly. They’re generally flexible, but it’s a good idea to give them at least 24-48 hours notice if you need to change your date. Just make sure you don’t wait too long because spots can fill up quickly!

Just finished the sushi-making class with Chef Amira in Jacksonville!
OMG, I had the best time at the 2-hour sushi-making class! Chef Amira is such a great teacher. I learned how to make a California roll and a veggie roll. The venue was a cool local brewery, and the vibes were super relaxed. Totally worth the $69! I even impressed my boyfriend with my rolling skills. 😂 Has anyone else done this? Any tips for the next time?
Thinking of gifting the sushi-making class to my parents!
I’m considering gifting the sushi-making class to my parents for their anniversary. They love trying new things but aren’t pros in the kitchen. Do you think this class is beginner-friendly enough? What was your experience like?
