Think gnocchi is too complicated to make at home? Think again. In this interactive class with Chef Maggie, you’ll master the Roman-born pasta that’s low-cost, filling and endlessly satisfying. Start with potatoes, flour and a pinch of seasoning to form a soft dough, then roll and cut it into delicate dumplings. As they cook, whip up one of two classic sauces: a nutty basil pesto with Parmesan or a rustic marinara with tomato, onions and peppers. Chef Maggie makes the process approachable and fun, so you’ll leave with the confidence to add homemade gnocchi to your weekly dinner rotation — no restaurant required. What to Expect: - Step-by-step guidance from a talented chef who makes it make sense. - A fun, beginner-friendly class where no one judges your knife skills. - Tasting, laughing and leveling up your kitchen game. - Ideal for: a solo outing, date night, girls’ night or group fun.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the gnocchi making class? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids are totally welcome in the class! It’s a fun and interactive environment, and Chef Maggie is great with younger cooks. Just make sure they have a bit of patience for the dough to come together. It’s a perfect family activity to bond over cooking!

Q: What should I wear to the cooking class? Is it messy?

A: Definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a little flour on! It can get messy, especially when you start kneading the dough. An apron is a good idea, and comfy shoes are a must since you’ll be standing for a while. Just come ready to have fun!

Q: Can this class be rescheduled if I can’t make it? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Classpop has a pretty flexible policy. Just give them a heads up at least 48 hours before your class, and they’ll help you find a new date that works for you. Super easy!

Just took the gnocchi class and loved it!

I went to the Fun Gnocchi Making Class with Chef Maggie last weekend in Sacramento and wow, what a blast! The setting at the brewery was so chill. I felt nervous at first, but Chef Maggie really made everything easy to follow. We made both the pesto and marinara sauces, and I can’t believe how good they turned out. Definitely bringing my friends next time!

Thinking about gifting the gnocchi class - is it worth it?

I’m considering getting the Fun Gnocchi Making Class for my partner’s birthday. We love trying new things together! But I’m kinda worried if they’ll enjoy the class or if it’s too basic. Has anyone done it? What was your experience?
