Q&A
A: Yes, the minimum age to join the Fun! Open-Air Banyan Tree Forest & Blowhole Sight-Seeing Tour is 2 years old. Your 5 and 8-year-olds are definitely good to go! Just make sure they’re comfortable with the open-air vehicle and are wearing sunscreen since you'll be exposed to the sun quite a bit.
A: The tour usually runs daily, but they do check the weather conditions. If there are heavy rains or high winds, they might cancel or reschedule. It’s always a good idea to call ahead if you're uncertain about the forecast. They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling, so you should be good either way!
A: Dress comfortably! I’d suggest lightweight clothing since it can get warm, and definitely bring a light jacket or sweater for the cooler breezes near the ocean. Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen too! Also, wear closed-toed shoes if you want to explore the stops; some areas can be rocky.

Just booked the Fun! Open-Air Banyan Tree Tour for my parents!
I’m super excited! I found this tour that goes all around West Maui and shows the banyan tree forest and the Nakalele Blowhole. It’s a gift for my parents who are visiting next month. They love nature and photography, so I think they’ll enjoy the scenic stops like Honolua Bay and the coffee farm. Has anyone done this? Any tips for them?
Considering this tour as a fun family outing!
I’m looking for something fun to do with my kiddos while we’re in Maui. This open-air tour looks awesome! I love that it goes through the mountains and has stops at the Banyan tree forest and some cool lookouts. Anyone have thoughts on the best age for kids for this? My little ones are 3 and 6.
