Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for participants on this scavenger hunt?

A: Yes! This scavenger hunt is designed for families with kids ages 6 to 17. Just make sure you have at least one adult in your team of up to 5 people. It's a great way for families to explore NYC while having fun!

Q: What should we wear for this scavenger hunt? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking around the city! Dress in layers too, as NYC weather can change quickly. Also, maybe don't wear your brand new shoes, just in case they get a little dirty during the hunt. It's all part of the fun!

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up? How flexible is it?

A: Yes, rescheduling is usually possible! Just reach out to Off the Beaten Subway Track as soon as you know you need to change the date. They’re pretty accommodating as long as it’s not last minute. Just make sure to read their policy in case there are any fees!

Thinking of gifting the Garbage and Rats Scavenger Hunt for my niece's birthday!

I found the Garbage and Rats in NYC Family Scavenger Hunt and it sounds hilarious! My niece is 10 and loves anything a little gross or quirky. The idea of running around taking photos with a camera sounds like a blast! Anyone done this before? How was the experience?

Just completed the scavenger hunt! So much fun!

We just finished the Garbage and Rats hunt and it was fantastic! It was a little wild running around the city, and the instant camera made it even more fun. We actually found a rat's nest (from a distance, thank goodness!). The prizes were cute too. Highly recommend for families with kids!
