Q&A
A: The meeting point has a decent parking area, but it can fill up quickly on weekends. I recommend arriving a little early to snag a spot. Also, there are some street parking options nearby if you can't find a spot at the tour location. Just watch out for the parking signs!
A: The tour is great for kids, but it's best for ages 5 and up since there are some walks involved. Just check in with the provider about any mobility concerns ahead of time. They’re super accommodating and can help make adjustments if needed.
A: If the weather's bad, they usually provide the option to reschedule to a later date. It’s best to keep an eye on the forecast and contact them if it looks iffy. They’re really flexible and will work with you to find a time that fits!

Had an amazing time on the Lighthouses and Forts tour!
I gifted the Get Out of Town tour to my parents last week, and they absolutely loved it! The guide, who was super knowledgeable, took them to Folly Beach, and they couldn’t stop raving about the lighthouse views. The walk around Fort Moultrie was such a highlight too. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a little history mixed with beautiful scenery!
Considering the Fort Moultrie tour for a birthday gift!
I’m thinking about this tour for my brother’s birthday. He loves history and the beach, so it seems perfect! I just wonder about the difficulty level and if it’s too much walking. He has a bit of trouble with long walks. Any feedback would be appreciated!
