Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour, but it's best suited for older kids and adults. Younger children might get spooked by some of the stories. Just keep in mind that the tour involves walking for about an hour and a half, so plan accordingly. It’s a fascinating mix of history and hauntings, and definitely a fun family outing if everyone’s up for it!
A: I’d suggest wearing comfy shoes since you'll be doing a fair bit of walking. The streets can get a bit uneven, so avoid flip-flops if you can. Dress in layers since it can be warm but it cools down in the evening. And maybe bring a light jacket just in case! Don't forget some bug spray if you're prone to bites.
A: If it's raining, the tour usually goes on! However, they might adjust the route or provide umbrellas. It’s best to check with the guide beforehand or call the company to confirm. Just remember, rain in Hawaii can be short-lived, so be prepared for a little wet weather but don’t let it scare you away from a good ghost story!

Thinking of gifting the Ghosts of Old Honolulu Tour!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Ghosts of Old Honolulu Walking Tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves spooky stuff and I think Lopaka Kapanui sounds amazing as a storyteller! Has anyone done this tour recently? Is it really as good as they say? Would love any tips!
Just got back from the Ghosts of Old Honolulu Tour!
OMGGGG you guys! I just went on the Ghosts of Old Honolulu Tour last night and it was so cool! Lopaka is such a great storyteller, and the stories of the royal palace gave me chills. If you’re in Oahu, you HAVE to do this. Plus, there were some historic spots I never knew about!
