Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to participate. They need to be able to understand safety instructions and handle the kayak. It's a great family-friendly experience, just make sure they’re comfortable in the water!
A: Definitely dress in layers! The drysuits they provide help a lot, but it can get chilly, especially in the morning. I’d suggest thermal layers underneath and maybe some waterproof gloves just in case. Comfortable water shoes are a must since they provide those too!
A: If the weather's not safe, they'll definitely reschedule the tour. It's best to check in with them the day before. They’re pretty flexible and want you to have the best experience possible!

Thinking of gifting the Glacial Lake Kayak Tour – anyone done it?
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Glacial Lake Inflatable Kayak Tour for my brother’s birthday, but I’ve never been kayaking before. I read that it’s in McCarthy, Alaska, and it sounds amazing with the views! What’s the experience like? Do you get to see any wildlife? Any tips for first-timers?
Just did the Glacial Lake Kayak Tour last week!
OMG, what an experience! The Glacial Lake was breathtaking. We got lucky with the weather, and our guide shared some cool facts about the region. It’s pretty easy since you’re in inflatable kayaks. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a chill adventure. You definitely feel the serenity out there!
