Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Glacier View & Wildlife Anchorage Adventure Tour?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but it's best suited for kids ages 6 and up. The tour includes some walking and may not be ideal for really young ones who can’t keep up. Just check with the provider if you have very young kids, they might have recommendations.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it very cold?

A: Dress in layers! Even in summer, it can get chilly near the glaciers. A warm jacket, comfortable shoes for walking, and maybe a hat are great ideas. Also, don't forget sunglasses for the sun reflecting off the snow!

Q: Can you reschedule the tour if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if the weather conditions are not safe. Just contact the provider as soon as possible. They’re pretty flexible and understand that Alaskan weather can be unpredictable!

Just got back from the Glacier View & Wildlife Tour, and WOW!

I can't believe how breathtaking the views were! The Turnagain Arm was incredible, and we saw a bunch of wildlife at the conservation center. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better. The small group size made it personal, plus they provided snacks which was a nice touch. I really recommend this tour if you’re in Anchorage. Perfect for nature lovers!

Thinking of gifting the adventure tour to my parents. Anyone done this?

I'm really considering this Glacier View & Wildlife Tour for my parents' anniversary, but I'm a little worried they might not keep up with the walking parts. They love wildlife and nature, and this seems perfect! Has anyone done this tour with older folks?
