Q&A
A: You'll want to wear moisture-wicking clothes and a good pair of hiking shoes. It can get pretty warm during the day and cooler at night, so layers are a must! Don't forget a swimsuit for the hot springs and a hat to protect against the sun. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also key!
A: Yes, if the weather is severe, they will work with you to find a new date! It's best to check their policies when you book, though, just in case. They really want to ensure you have a safe and fun experience.
A: Absolutely! The Old Town Loons are perfect for beginners, and the guides are super helpful. They’ll give you a quick rundown of the basics before you hit the water. Plus, with plenty of stops and time to explore, there's no pressure!

Just booked the glamping trip from Hoover Dam! Any tips?
I'm so excited! I just booked the 2-day glamping trip with kayaking! We’ll be starting from Hoover Dam and hitting up those hot springs. I've heard the sauna cave is a must-see. Any tips on what to bring or what to expect? I want to make the most of this adventure!
Just got back from the glamping trip - wow!
I can't recommend this enough! The kayaking was so relaxing, and the hot springs were incredible, especially the Gold Strike one. The guides were awesome, super knowledgeable about the area. Ending at Emerald Cave was a great way to finish the trip. I definitely want to go again!
