Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rainbow Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) This paddle is what any outdoor enthusiast or adventure-seeker is looking for. Year round we experience over 14 different type of birds, fish, turtles, otters, alligators, and other wildlife. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the kayak tour?

A: Great question! Kids ages 5 and up can join the kayak tour, but they do need to be able to comfortably fit in a life vest. It's a fun way for families to explore together, just be prepared for some paddling! The guides are really experienced with kids, so they’ll make sure everyone feels safe and included.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad on the day of the kayak tour?

A: If the weather is looking rough, the tour guides will reach out to you to reschedule for another day. Safety is a priority, so they won't go out in bad conditions. It's best to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your trip, though!

Q: What should I wear for the kayak eco tour? Any recommendations?

A: Dress comfortably! I recommend wearing quick-dry shorts or pants and a breathable shirt. Don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses too. Water shoes or sandals are best, since you might get in and out of the kayak. Also, bring a hat if you're sensitive to the sun!

Looking for a unique birthday gift idea - kayak tour?

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about gifting my brother a glass bottom kayak eco tour at Rainbow Springs for his birthday. I love that it’s a small group, and the wildlife looks amazing! Has anyone done this? What was the best part for you? I want it to be special!

Just did the glass bottom kayak tour - a must-try!

I went on the kayak eco tour last week and it was incredible! The guides are super friendly and knowledgeable. We saw so much wildlife, including an otter and a few gators! The clear kayaks are such a fun twist. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique outdoor adventure.
