Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Glass Bottom Kayak Tours?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to join. If they're younger, they must sit in a tandem kayak with an adult. Just make sure they can wear the life jacket properly! Everyone will have a blast, but safety's first.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If there’s bad weather, the tour operators will reach out to you to reschedule. They’re really good about communication, so don’t worry! You can usually pick another day without any hassle. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak tour, and do we need to bring anything?

A: Wear quick-drying clothes like shorts and a t-shirt. Water shoes are great too! You don’t need to bring much since they provide everything, but I suggest sunscreen and a hat. A water bottle is nice to have too!

Just did the Glass Bottom Kayak Tour at Silver Springs—so worth it!

I took my girlfriend for her birthday, and we had the BEST time! The clear kayaks are unreal. You can see all the fish and plants below you, and the guides were super friendly. We didn't even notice the time! Totally recommend it if you’re in Orlando. It starts at around $55 per person, but you get all the gear included. Make sure to book ahead—especially on weekends!

Thinking of gifting the kayak tour—anyone tried it?

I’m looking to get this for my parents. They love the outdoors but haven't done kayaking before. Is it easy for beginners? Also, do they offer any special packages for groups or something? Thanks!
