A: Yes, there is an age limit. Generally, participants must be at least 14 years old to join the glassblowing sessions. Younger kids can come along but may not be able to actively participate. It's definitely a fun experience for teens and adults though!
A: Getting to The Glass Deer is pretty straightforward. It’s located just off Highway 98, so if you’re driving from anywhere in Destin, it’s easy to find. There’s ample parking available on-site. Just make sure to arrive about 15 minutes early to get settled!
A: Definitely wear something comfortable and old! Glassblowing can get a bit messy, and the studio can be warm due to the furnace. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and maybe even bring an apron if you have one. You want to be free to move and create without worrying about your outfit!

Just did the glassblowing experience in Destin, and it was awesome!
I just got back from the glassblowing workshop at The Glass Deer and wow, I’m blown away! 😄 The instructors were super chill and made it really easy to learn. I made a glass paperweight and it’s beautiful! The whole thing took about 2 hours and I can’t wait to pick it up next week. Highly recommend for a fun date idea or a unique gift!
