Q&A
A: Yes, this experience is great for kids! Guests must be at least 6 years old to participate, which makes it perfect for family outings. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit more supervision and encouragement, especially if they’re nervous about the water.
A: Definitely dress for the weather! They provide wetsuits and splash jackets, which are helpful, but I’d recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath. Water shoes or sandals with a strap are best since you don’t want them floating away. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Defiance Rafting is pretty flexible! They usually allow you to reschedule for free, but it’s good to give them a call as soon as you know you might need to change your plans. They’ll work with you to find a new date that suits everyone.

Anyone done the Glenwood Canyon Half-Day rafting? Thinking of gifting this!
My family and I are considering the Glenwood Canyon Half-Day experience as a gift for my cousin's birthday. I've heard great things about the Class III rapids being perfect for beginners! Plus, it seems like such a beautiful spot. Any tips or things to watch out for? Would love to hear from anyone who's done it!
Looking for reviews on the Glenwood Springs whitewater rafting experience!
I’m planning to take my friends rafting in Glenwood Springs next month, and wanted some real reviews on the Half-Day trip. How intense are the rapids? Is it good for a mixed group of beginners and a couple of pros? Any insights are appreciated!
