Q&A
A: If you don't use all your attractions within the 30-day window, unfortunately, they just expire. So, make sure to plan your visits wisely! You can choose to do them all in one weekend or spread them out, but keep an eye on the dates. It's fun to mix things up, like pairing a cruise with a museum visit!
A: Most attractions have no strict age limits, but some, like the Alcatraz tour, might be better suited for older kids and adults due to the nature of the experience. If you're taking younger ones, check the specifics on each activity to make sure they can participate. It’s super flexible for families!
A: Dress in layers! San Francisco weather can change quickly. For the cruise, I'd recommend something warm since it can get breezy on the water. Comfortable shoes are a must, especially if you’re hopping on the Big Bus afterward. You wanna be ready for a full day of exploration!

Thinking of gifting the San Francisco Explorer Pass - is it worth it?
Hey folks! I’m considering getting the Go City San Francisco Explorer Pass for my brother’s birthday. He’s a huge fan of museums and loves the idea of cruising around the bay. I’m thinking of letting him choose 3 activities. Has anyone tried it? Any tips on what to do first? I’m especially curious about the Alcatraz tour!
Just did the Explorer Pass and had a blast!
Wow, I just got back from using the Go City San Francisco Pass and it was so worth it! We did the California Academy of Sciences, a Bay cruise, and the Big Bus tour. Everything was so flexible and easy to access! If you’re planning it out, just make sure to check the hours of each attraction. Some places close early, but overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend it!
