Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids under 12 usually need to be with an adult. They do have smaller bikes for younger ones, though! Just check with Bike & View for specifics. I saw families biking together, which was cute!
A: Parking can be tricky in that area, especially on weekends. I suggest arriving early to snag a spot. There are some paid lots nearby too, but they fill up fast. You could also take public transit – way less hassle!
A: If it’s raining or really windy, definitely call Bike & View to check their policies. Sometimes they let you reschedule for free if the weather’s bad. I got lucky and had a sunny day, but it’s good to have a backup plan for sure.

Considering the Golden Gate Bridge bike rental for my friend's birthday!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting my friend a bike rental from Bike & View to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. I’ve heard it’s super fun and you get a helmet and lock included, which is awesome. Just wondering if anyone's done it and what the biking experience is like? Also, how long does it usually take to bike across the bridge and back?
Awesome experience biking the Golden Gate!
Just wanted to share how amazing our bike rental experience was at Bike & View! The bikes were in great shape, and we loved riding across the Golden Gate Bridge. We even got a map, which helped us explore a bit of Sausalito afterwards. Definitely recommend it if you're in San Francisco. Planning to do it again soon!
