Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the bike rental? Can we bring a child on a tandem bike?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids need to be able to ride on their own for the bike rental. Unlimited Biking does have tandem bikes available, which are great for younger kids who might not be ready to ride solo. Just check with them on-site to see what options they have!

Q: How do you handle weather cancellations? What if it rains?

A: If the weather looks bad, you can usually reschedule for another day. Unlimited Biking is pretty flexible about it, just make sure to call them in advance to change your reservation. Always check the forecast a day before!

Q: What should we wear for this bike ride? Any recommendations?

A: Dress in layers! The weather in San Francisco can be tricky, especially near the bridge. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little wind-blown. Also, definitely wear closed-toe shoes for safety!

Thinking about gifting the Golden Gate Bridge bike rental experience!

Hey everyone! I’m considering giving this bike rental with the Sausalito ferry return as a gift for my friend’s birthday. I think it sounds like such a fun way to see the city, especially since they love biking! Has anyone done it recently? Any tips on the bike quality and how the ferry ride is?

Tips for riding the Golden Gate Bridge!

Just finished the Golden Gate bike experience with the ferry return and wow, what a ride! The views were stunning, but man, that wind can be brutal! I recommend going early in the morning for less foot traffic. Anyone else have tips for making the most of the ride?
