Q&A
A: Great question! There isn't an official age limit, but kids around 8 and up usually enjoy it since there's quite a bit of walking and exploring involved. Plus, John, the guide, is super engaging with younger audiences! If you have younger kids, just be prepared to keep an eye on them since some areas can be busy.
A: Weather in San Francisco can be unpredictable! John will keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour. If it looks like rain, you can usually reschedule without a problem. But do bring layers, because it can be chilly even if the sun's out!
A: Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends. There’s some street parking, but it's often limited. I recommend using public transport if you can. The N-Judah and 5-Fulton Muni lines are good options if you're coming from downtown.

Thinking about gifting the Golden Gate Park tour! Any thoughts?
Hey guys! I’m considering this as a gift for my partner’s birthday. They love nature and history, and I think the hidden gems part sounds amazing! I’m a bit worried about the logistics, like parking and if it's suitable for a somewhat slower pace since they’re not super active. Anyone done this experience? Would love to hear your take!
Just had the Golden Gate Park tour with John, and wow!
I took the tour last week and it was incredible! John knows so much about the park's history. The Monarch Bear Grove was a highlight for me, and the candelabra redwoods were breathtaking. The snacks and water were a nice touch too. Highly recommend if you're in SF!
