Q&A
A: The Goldstrike hike is labeled as difficult, and it involves rope climbs and some rugged terrain. If you're not in great shape, it could be quite challenging. I'd recommend some basic fitness training before going. However, if your friend is adventurous and willing to take it slow with breaks, they might still enjoy it. Just be sure they’re aware of the effort required!
A: Wear sturdy hiking shoes with good grip, as there are a few rope climbs. Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing is best since it can get hot. Don’t forget a swimsuit for the hot springs! Sunscreen and a hat are also super important as there’s little shade.
A: If the weather is bad, the provider will likely reschedule for safety reasons. It's always best to check the forecast a few days before and keep in touch with your guide. They’re really good at ensuring everyone’s safety, so if it’s dangerous, they’ll let you know!

Considering Goldstrike Hike as a Gift — Thoughts?
I’m thinking about gifting this Goldstrike Hot Springs hike to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves hiking but I’m nervous about the difficulty level. I want him to have fun, not struggle the whole time! Any thoughts or tips from people who’ve done it?
