Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the cooking classes at A Cook's Beet in St. Augustine?

A: There's no strict age limit for the cooking classes, but they’re generally more suitable for adults and older teens. Kids can join if accompanied by a parent or guardian, but it's best to check with the venue for specific age guidelines. It's a hands-on class, so younger kids might find it challenging.

Q: What should I wear to the cooking class? Is there a dress code?

A: There's no formal dress code, but I recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy. Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety, and maybe an apron if you have one! It's all about having fun while cooking.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up after I buy the class?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your class! Just reach out to A Cook's Beet at least 48 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find a new date. They’re pretty flexible, which is great for planning surprises.

Thinking about gifting a cooking class in St. Augustine—any thoughts?

Hey all! I’m considering giving my sister a gourmet cooking class at A Cook's Beet for her birthday. I saw that they teach knife skills and other tips which she could really use. She has a knack for trying new recipes but struggles with the basics. Has anyone taken this class? What was your experience like?

Gifted the cooking class—here’s how it went!

Just got back from A Cook's Beet and wow, what a great experience! I gifted this to my partner and we both had a blast. We made this delicious quinoa salad and a lemon herb chicken. The chef really made it fun and everyone was so friendly. Definitely worth the price and we can’t wait to try our new skills out at home!
