Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the electric scooters?

A: Yes, there is a weight limit of around 250 lbs for the electric scooters. It's designed to ensure everyone's safety and comfort while riding. Personally, I think it’s a good idea to check this out beforehand, so you know who can ride without issues. If anyone is on the heavier side, you might want to call the provider directly just to confirm.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day we booked?

A: If the weather is really bad, the tour can usually be rescheduled without any hassle. Just give them a call, and they’ll help you find another date. I went on a cloudy day, and it was okay, but I’d recommend checking the forecast and being prepared just in case. Sunscreen is a must even if it looks overcast!

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Is it casual or formal?

A: Totally casual! You’ll want to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Expect to be outside a lot, so maybe bring a light jacket if it gets windy by the beach. I wore shorts and a tank top, but if you’re going earlier in the day, layering is a good idea. Also, sunscreen is key, especially in San Diego!

Just did the Coronado Electric Scooter Tour and it was awesome!

I took my girlfriend on the GPS Guided Coronado Electric Scooter Tour last weekend, and we had the best time! Starting in Old Town was cool, and riding the ferry over to Coronado was a fun experience. The GPS was spot on and had some funny jokes too. We stopped at the Hotel del Coronado and took tons of pictures. I definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves adventure and sightseeing!

Thinking of gifting the scooter tour, anyone done this?

I'm considering this for my brother's birthday coming up. He loves scooters and I think he’d have a blast on Coronado! Just curious if anyone who's done it has tips or how long it lasts. Does the ferry ride take long? I wanna make sure it’s worth it!
