Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Grand Canyon tour?

A: The tour is ideal for ages 9 and up, so it’s great for families. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a little extra supervision, especially at the canyon's edge. If you're planning to bring someone younger than 9, it might be worth checking directly with the provider for options. Have fun!

Q: What should I wear for the Grand Canyon drive?

A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be cool, especially by the river, but it heats up as the day goes on. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be making stops for photos and walking around some. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, too!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they usually offer rescheduling options. Best to check with Desert Wonder Tours directly about their policies, though, since they’re pretty accommodating. Just keep an eye on the forecast before your trip!

Thinking of gifting the Grand Canyon Scenic Drive – Any tips?

I'm planning to gift the Grand Canyon Basin Scenic Drive to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and historical places. I read it’s an 8-hour tour with lunch included, which sounds perfect. Is it as beautiful as they say? Also, do you think it’s suitable for two seniors? Any advice on what to expect?

Just did the Grand Canyon Drive – Worth every penny!

I just got back from the Grand Canyon Basin Scenic Drive and WOW, it was breathtaking! The lunch was delicious, and the views along Route 66 made for awesome photos. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history. I definitely recommend this if you're considering it as a gift for someone who loves the outdoors!
