Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this hiking tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old and able to hike the 3 miles. It’s not too steep, but you should be mindful of the heat since it can get intense. Make sure your kid is used to some hiking before signing up!

Q: What do you wear for this hike? Will I be uncomfortable?

A: Dress in layers! It can be cool in the morning and scorching by the time you get down to Cedar Ridge. Good hiking shoes are a must; you don't want to slip on the rocky path. Also, sunblock and a hat are lifesavers.

Q: What's the cancellation policy? What if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather is severe, they typically reschedule for safety. You'll have to contact them within 24 hours to make changes. They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them a heads-up.
