Q&A
A: Yes! Arizona state law requires all children 8 years and younger to be in a car seat or booster seat during the tour. Make sure to check with the provider if they can provide one for you or if you need to bring your own.
A: If the weather is really bad, like heavy rain or snow, the tour can be rescheduled. Just reach out to Great West Tours ahead of time to discuss your options. They’re pretty accommodating!
A: Dress comfortably! I’d recommend layers since temperatures can change throughout the day. Sturdy shoes are a must because you'll be walking around, especially at the viewpoints. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses!

Just did the Grand Canyon tour from Flagstaff—WOW!
I recently went on the Grand Canyon Experience Tour with Great West Tours, and it was fantastic! The guide was super knowledgeable and kept us entertained with stories about the geology and history of the canyon. We made several stops along the South Rim, and the views were breathtaking! Also, we got to shop at the Cameron Trading Post, which was such a cool little stop. I highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature or history!
Considering the Grand Canyon tour for my parents' anniversary gift!
Looking for advice! My parents love exploring national parks, and I think this Grand Canyon tour from Flagstaff would be an awesome gift. They're in their late 60s and do pretty well with walking, but I want to make sure it's not too strenuous. Has anyone done it yet? How was the pace?
