Q&A
A: Layering is key for the Grand Canyon! Mornings can be chilly, especially in Sedona, so wearing a light jacket is smart. By the afternoon, it can warm up quite a bit, so you might want a t-shirt underneath. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be getting in and out of the vehicle and walking at the stops. Just check the forecast for the day before you go!
A: Yes, Arizona law requires children under 8 to be in a car seat or booster seat. So, if you’re bringing younger kids, make sure to bring a seat that can fit in the van. The tour guides are usually very accommodating, and they'll help you with loading it in. Just double-check with the provider before your trip to make sure you’re all set.
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule! Just reach out to Great West Tours directly if you need to change your date. They’re pretty flexible but try to give them a heads up as soon as you can. Cancellations might have different terms, so check their policy on that when you book. Better safe than sorry!

Thinking of gifting the Grand Canyon tour, any thoughts?
I’m considering getting this Grand Canyon tour from Sedona for my dad's birthday. He loves nature and history, and I think he’d really appreciate the guided tour aspect. I saw it includes a visit to the Little Colorado Gorge, which looks stunning! But, has anyone done this recently? How was the food situation? I heard lunch options are limited due to Covid.

I recently went on the Grand Canyon tour and it blew my mind! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially at the South Rim. Our guide made learning about the geology fun. We hit the Cameron Trading Post, too, and I snagged some cool souvenirs. Just be ready for a long day, but totally worth it! Would definitely recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors!
