Q&A
A: There's no strict weight limit mentioned, but Arizona law requires kids 8 and younger to be in a car seat or booster seat. Check with the provider, Blue Feather Tours, if you have any specific concerns about your child’s size or age.
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, but it warms up during the day. Comfortable hiking shoes are a must, and don’t forget a hat and sunscreen since you’ll be exposed to the sun for hours. Bring a light jacket too, as it can get windy at the Canyon.
A: Yes, Blue Feather Tours offers some flexibility. You typically need to notify them at least 48 hours in advance for a reschedule. Just reach out to their customer service, and they’ll help find a new date for you!

Just got back from the Grand Canyon Explorer tour - it was incredible!
I took the Grand Canyon Explorer tour from Sedona last week and wow, it was an experience! The ancient ruins at Wupatki were fascinating, and Sunset Crater Volcano was just breathtaking. The views from the Desert Watchtower were honestly some of the best I’ve ever seen. We had plenty of time to explore the Grand Canyon ourselves in the afternoon too. Totally worth it!
Thinking about gifting the Grand Canyon Explorer tour - any advice?
I’m considering giving my parents the Grand Canyon Explorer tour as a gift for their anniversary. They love exploring new places and this seems perfect! Has anyone done this? What was your favorite part? Any tips?
