Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, Grand Canyon Airlines will typically offer to reschedule your flight for a later date. They prioritize safety and won't fly in poor conditions. Just be sure to call them ahead of time to check the situation and reschedule if necessary!

Q: Is there an age limit for the airplane tour? Can kids go too?

A: Kids are welcome on the airplane tours! There's no strict age limit, but they will need to sit in their own seat if they're over 2 years old. Just be sure to keep them entertained as the flight is 40 minutes long. It’s an amazing experience for families!

Q: Can you wear regular clothes on the airplane tour, or do you need something special?

A: Casual clothes work just fine! You'll want to wear something comfortable since it’s a flight, but don't worry about dressing up. Just check the weather that day and layer up if it’s chilly in the air. Bring sunglasses for the flight too—glare can be intense!

Just booked the Grand Canyon Landmarks Tour—so excited!

I just snagged the Grand Canyon Landmarks Tour by airplane and I can't wait! I opted for the Hummer upgrade too because I heard the views from the ground are just as stunning. I’m going next month and I'm hoping for good weather. Any tips on the best times for photos? I heard mornings have the best light!

Just did the airplane tour and Hummer ride—mind blown!

OMG, the Grand Canyon by air is unreal! The airplane had these huge windows and the view of the Painted Desert was just breathtaking. We did the Hummer tour afterward and stopping at different viewpoints was such a blast. Definitely bring your camera. Worth every penny!
