Q&A
A: There’s actually no strict age limit, but I'd say kids around 10 and up would enjoy it the most. The trails can be challenging and steep in some areas, so younger kids might struggle a bit. If you're unsure, reach out to the guides—they can tailor the hike to fit younger adventurers' needs!
A: Yes, they have a flexible rescheduling policy! If the weather’s not cooperating, just give them a call or shoot them an email and they’ll work with you to find a new date. They want to make sure you have the best experience possible.
A: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes and sturdy hiking boots. The guides provide trekking poles and Camelbak backpacks, so you don't have to worry about that. Just bring a hat, sunscreen, and maybe an extra layer if it gets chilly in the canyon. They'll make sure you’re set for the day!

Just got back from the Grand Canyon Below the Rim Tour—what an adventure!
I booked the Grand Canyon Private Below the Rim Hiking Tour for my husband’s birthday, and it was epic! The views were jaw-dropping. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the geology and history of the canyon. We stopped for snacks (the Canyon Snack Bag is legit) and took a ton of photos. If you’re considering this as a gift, DO IT! Totally worth the price.
Considering this hiking tour for a family gift—any advice?
I want to surprise my family with a fun outdoor adventure and the Grand Canyon tour looks perfect! My kids are 11 and 13, and I’m just wondering if this will be fun but also safe for them? I love hiking, but I don’t want to overdo it for them.
