Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Grand Canyon tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Grand Canyon/Route 66 tour! It’s family-friendly, but keep in mind that the terrain can be rough. Kids should be able to handle a bumpy ride on that dirt road. Just check with the provider for any specific requirements, especially regarding safety gear for younger kids.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it dusty or muddy?

A: Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty! The tour goes down that dirt road, so it can be dusty. I'd suggest layers too, since it can get chilly at the bottom. A hat and sunglasses are also a good call!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the tour day? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is severe! The tour provider is pretty accommodating about that. Just make sure to contact them ahead of your scheduled tour date to arrange it. They’ll work with you to find a new time.

Thinking about gifting the Grand Canyon tour! Any tips?

I’m considering this Grand Canyon/Route 66 tour for my dad’s birthday. He loves nature and I think this would blow his mind! The dirt road to the Colorado River sounds like such an adventure, plus I saw there’s lunch included at the Hualapai Resort. Does anyone know what the views are like? Should I book soon? Trying to get this perfect for him!
