Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? Thinking of getting it for my kids who are 8 and 12.

A: There isn't a strict age limit for this tour, but kids should be able to manage being in a van for a few hours and walking along the rim. Many families take kids around those ages. Just make sure they're comfortable with heights since some viewpoints can be pretty steep. It’s definitely a great educational experience for them!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule or get a refund?

A: If the weather is really bad, they usually reschedule for you. Just contact them ahead of time. As for refunds, I believe it depends on their policies, but typically they offer a reschedule option rather than a refund. I recommend double-checking with the provider for the latest info!

Q: What should we wear on the tour? Is it cold at the canyon in the morning?

A: Layers are key! It can be chilly in the morning, especially in the fall and winter months, but warms up as the day goes on. Definitely wear comfortable shoes for walking. I’d recommend a light jacket for the morning and then you can shed layers as it warms up. Plus, sunscreen is a must!

Just got back from the Grand Canyon Small Group Tour!

Wow, what an incredible experience! We went with Ma Pa Tours, and I can't recommend them enough. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. The views from the South Rim were breathtaking! We even got to shop for souvenirs at the Cameron Trading Post. Pro tip: Bring a packed lunch if you can, as options are limited at the canyon right now. Can’t wait to go back!

Considering this tour as a gift for my husband’s birthday!

I’m looking into this Grand Canyon tour from Sedona for my husband's birthday. He loves hiking and photography, so I think it'll be perfect! How's the hiking on this tour? Will he have enough time to take photos? I really want to make this special for him!
