Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this trip? I have a 7-year-old and a 10-year-old.

A: Arizona law requires all kids 8 and under to be in a car seat or booster seat. Since your 10-year-old is fine without one, you should check if the tour provider has any restrictions on younger kids. But definitely bring a car seat for the 7-year-old!

Q: How much time do we actually get at the Grand Canyon? Is it enough for photos?

A: You get around 3-4 hours at the Grand Canyon itself. That's plenty of time to explore, take photos, and even grab lunch at Grand Canyon Village. Just plan your stops along the way to make sure you get the best views!

Q: What should I wear on this trip? Is it super hot?

A: Dress in layers! It can be hot in Sedona, but cooler at the canyon. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking around. It’s dry, so bring sunscreen and a hat just in case.

I’m so excited for this trip! We leave from Sedona, and I’m pumped to see all the overlooks like Yavapai Point and the Desert View Watchtower. I’ve heard the stops are great for pics, but what’s the best time to plan for lunch at the Grand Canyon Village? I want to make sure we have enough time to explore!

I got this experience for my parents’ anniversary last month, and they had the best time! They came back raving about the views and the Native American artwork at the Cameron Trading Post. The photos they took are incredible! Just a heads up, make sure they wear comfy shoes as there's a bit of walking involved.
