Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for this Grand Central Terminal Walking Tour?

A: There’s no specific age requirement for the tour! It’s designed for anyone who’s curious about NYC history. However, it’s best for kids ages 10 and up, as some of the historical details can be pretty in-depth. Just keep in mind that younger kids might get bored if they’re not into history.

Q: What should we wear for the Grand Central tour? Is it mostly indoors?

A: The tour is mostly indoors, but you might step outside, so I’d recommend comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot. Dress in layers too, as it can get chilly inside GCT! A light jacket or sweater is ideal, especially if you’re going in the fall or winter.

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if something comes up?

A: Yes! You can reschedule your tour with at least 24 hours' notice. Just reach out to the provider, and they’ll help you find another time that works. They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them a heads-up.

Thinking about gifting the Grand Central Terminal Tour!

I’m considering this Grand Central Terminal Walking Tour for my cousin’s birthday. He’s a huge history fan and loves NYC. It’s free, too, which is a huge bonus! The fact that it covers the Vanderbilts and the architecture sounds amazing. Has anyone done this tour? What was your experience like?

Anyone else obsessed with Grand Central’s architecture?

I just got back from the Grand Central Terminal Walking Tour, and wow, the architecture is stunning! The guide really knew his stuff about the Greybar Building and the main concourse. I took some awesome pics! So glad I went. Perfect for someone who loves NYC history. Thinking of doing it again with friends!
