Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? I want to take my 8-year-old and not sure if it’s suitable.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s really a historical tour, so younger kids might not find it as engaging. That said, my 9-year-old loved it! They can sit comfortably in the AC van and enjoy the sights. Just make sure they're interested in the history, or it might be a long 3 hours for them.

Q: What if it rains? Are there any weather cancellation policies?

A: The tour goes on rain or shine! They have a no-refund policy unless they cancel the tour. If it’s light rain, they’ll still do it. Bring an umbrella or a poncho just in case. We went in a light drizzle and had a blast!

Q: Can you take photos at the stops? Is there a lot of walking?

A: Yes, you can definitely take photos at each stop! They give you ample time at places like the Lincoln Memorial and White House. The walking isn’t too strenuous—mostly just short strolls at each location. Super easy to keep up with.

Just did the Grand Sightseeing Tour, here’s my take!

Hey everyone! I took the Grand Sightseeing Tour of DC last week and it was amazing! The van was super comfy, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the history behind each memorial. We got to stop at the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, and even had a great view of the Capitol. The 3 hours flew by! Definitely worth it for anyone looking to explore DC, especially if you’re short on time. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes because there’s a bit of walking at the stops!

Looking to gift this tour, any advice?

Hey! I’m thinking about gifting the Grand Sightseeing Tour to my parents. They’ve always wanted to visit DC but never got around to it. I know they love history, so this seems perfect. Any tips on booking or what to expect?
