Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Grand Teton and National Elk Refuge tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but the experience is best suited for ages 5 and up. Younger kids may get restless during the longer stretches in the car or sleigh. Just make sure to dress them warmly since it can get pretty cold out there!

Q: What should we wear for the horse-drawn sleigh ride?

A: Definitely layer up! You'll want a good winter coat, gloves, and a warm hat. The sleigh ride can get windy, so a windbreaker underneath your coat is a great idea. Don't forget insulated boots too; it can get snowy!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes! The tour can be rescheduled if the weather conditions are unsafe. It's best to call the provider a day ahead to check the forecast and make adjustments. They’re usually pretty accommodating. Just make sure to have a backup date in mind!

Just did the Grand Teton & Elk Refuge adventure – amazing experience!

I just got back from the Grand Teton and National Elk Refuge tour and wow, it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable and I spotted moose, bison, and even a wolf! The views of the Tetons covered in snow were breathtaking. The lunch in Jackson was perfect after a chilly morning. The sleigh ride was the highlight; being so close to the elk herds was magical. Highly recommend it as a gift or for yourself!

Thinking about gifting this Grand Teton adventure – any advice?

I'm considering this Grand Teton winter tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature but aren't super active. Do you think they'd enjoy the sleigh ride? How long is the whole thing? Any tips would be appreciated!
