Q&A
A: Early morning tours are usually best because the wildlife is more active at dawn. I went in July, and we spotted moose and even a grizzly! Just remember to dress warmly since it can be chilly before the sun comes up.
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say it’s more suitable for kids aged 5 and up who can handle early mornings and some hiking. My 7-year-old loved it! Just make sure they’re ready for some quiet time while looking for wildlife.
A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just give them a call or email as soon as you know. They want to make sure you have a great experience, and they’ll work with you on finding a better day.

Thinking of booking the private sunrise tour—any tips?
I’m looking at the private sunrise tour at Grand Teton National Park for my partner's birthday, and I’m super excited! I’ve heard amazing things about the wildlife sightings, especially with the guide. What's the breakfast like? Is it enough to fill you up before a busy morning? Also, should we bring our own binoculars or do they provide good ones?
Just did the sunrise tour—such an amazing experience!
I took the private sunrise tour last week, and wow, it was incredible! We saw a moose right by Jenny Lake and the sunrise over Oxbow Bend was breathtaking. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience special. Definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Jackson Hole. Just be sure to dress in layers, it gets chilly early on!
