Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this Grand Teton Winter Tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are totally welcome on the Grand Teton Winter Tour! There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for children who are around 8 and up. The tour involves some walking and listening, so they should be able to appreciate wildlife and the sights. Just make sure to dress them warmly since it can get pretty chilly out there!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate. Tours In Color is pretty flexible in that regard. Just reach out to them at least 24 hours in advance to check on availability. They want to make sure you have the best experience possible!

Q: Is there a lot of walking involved? I'm not super fit.

A: The walking is pretty minimal! Most of the tour is from the comfort of the vehicle, with stops for photos and short walks at scenic spots. You can totally enjoy the tour without being super fit. Just make sure to wear good shoes for walking a little in the snow.

Thinking about gifting the Grand Teton Private Winter Tour!

I’m really considering this tour for my partner's birthday. We love nature and wildlife, plus the idea of a private tour sounds amazing! I saw that they provide snacks and hot drinks, which is a nice touch for winter. Has anyone done this tour? How's the wildlife viewing? I really want to make this special!

Just got back from the Grand Teton Winter Tour - what an experience!

Wow, I just did this tour last week and it was incredible! We saw a pack of wolves and a bunch of elk. The guide had these awesome binoculars we could use, and the hot cocoa they provided was perfect for the cold. If you’re thinking about gifting this, do it! It's worth every penny.
