Our 7-mile Scenic Float, unique only to our company, borders the southern boundary to Grand Teton National Park. Our float trip begins from the historic Snake River Ranch, one of the few working cattle ranches left in Jackson Hole, with a beautiful southern perspective of the Tetons. It's the perfect trip for those with a busy schedule of activities or young children! Just an hour or so on the water. Our boatmen do all the work, so you can relax and take it all in. Time on water is dependent on water levels.

Q&A

Q: What age is this float trip suitable for? Can kids go?

A: It's great for kids! The float is designed for families, so children as young as 4 can join. The guides are super friendly and know how to make it fun for all ages. Just make sure they wear life jackets, which are provided.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they cancel the trip?

A: They have a flexible cancellation policy. If the weather is really bad, they’ll reschedule you for another time. It’s always best to check the forecast before your trip, but they provide ponchos for those unexpected showers!

Q: Is there parking available at the launch point?

A: Yes! There's plenty of parking at the Snake River Ranch. Just make sure to arrive a little early, especially during peak season to grab a good spot. The ride back to the starting point is included, so you won't have to worry about your car.

Discussions

Just did the 7-mile float and it was AMAZING!

Wow, I can't recommend the Grand Teton Scenic Float enough! The views of the Tetons were breathtaking, and our guide was super knowledgeable. We even spotted some wildlife along the way. It was a perfect fit for my family since we have young kids. Just about an hour on the water, which was just right! We went in early September and the weather held up, so definitely check the forecast.

Considering this as a gift, any tips?

I'm thinking about gifting the 7-mile float to my parents who are visiting Jackson. They’ve never done anything like this before! What should I know? Are there any special things I should pack for them or tips from your own experiences?
