Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year for seeing wildlife on this safari?

A: The best time for wildlife viewing is definitely during the early morning or late evening, especially from June through mid-September when the open-air vehicles are in use. That said, if you go in the fall or winter, you'll still see plenty of wildlife like moose and bison, just in a heated enclosed vehicle. It really depends on what kind of animals you want to see!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

A: There aren't any strict age restrictions, but they do recommend it for kids aged 5 and up since it can be a long outing and involves some waiting. The tour in the open-air vehicle is pretty lively and loud, so younger ones might find it difficult. Ensure to check with the provider if you're planning to take very young kids.

Q: What should we wear? Is it cold in the early morning?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, especially in the open-air vehicle, but you'll warm up as the sun rises. I'd suggest a fleece jacket and maybe a hat, plus good walking shoes. If you're going for the enclosed vehicle in winter, just wear something comfortable like you would for a normal winter outing.

Just Booked the Grand Teton Wildlife Safari, Any Tips?

I just snagged a spot for the Grand Teton Wildlife Safari next month! So freaking excited! I'm going in early September, and I really hope we see some bears and moose. Planning to wear layers since it’ll be chilly in the morning. Anyone who's done this before, what was your experience like? Did you see a lot of wildlife?

Gifted My Parents the Wildlife Safari - They Loved It!

I gave my parents the Grand Teton Wildlife Safari for their anniversary, and they had such a blast! They went in July, and said the open-air vehicle made it feel like a real adventure. They loved seeing the bison up close. Totally worth it! Highly recommend it for family gifts!
