Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the slot canyon tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join the tour! However, it's best suited for ages 8 and up due to the hiking and terrain. The guides are very accommodating, and they provide water and support along the way, so it's a great family-friendly experience if your kids enjoy a bit of adventure!

Q: What should we wear for the terrain? Is it really rough?

A: Definitely wear sturdy hiking shoes since the terrain can get tricky, especially in the Great Chamber. Layer your clothing because it can get warm during the hike but cooler in the canyon. A hat and sunscreen are also a must! Trust me, you’ll want to be comfortable.

Q: If it rains, do they cancel the tour? How do they handle bad weather?

A: Yes, safety is a priority, so if there’s heavy rain in the forecast, the tour may get canceled. They usually contact you in advance to reschedule. It’s best to check the weather conditions leading up to your tour and be flexible with dates if possible!

Thinking about gifting the Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon tour!

I’m planning to surprise my sister with this tour for her birthday! She loves hiking and photography, so I think this will be perfect. Has anyone done it recently? I’m curious about the hiking difficulty and how long the tour actually lasts. The views look amazing from the pics I've seen!

Just got back from the 4WD tour — WOW!

I just did the Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon tour with Kanab Tour Company and it was epic! Our guide was super knowledgeable and we saw some incredible rock formations. The Great Chamber took my breath away. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique adventure. Just a heads up, bring good shoes!
