Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the museum, but I think younger kids might not appreciate it as much. They do have some interactive displays that could engage them. Just keep in mind that the museum is a bit formal, so it might not be the most exciting trip for very young children. I'd say it's great for kids aged 8 and up!
A: I'd recommend visiting in the spring or fall. The gardens are in full bloom from March to May, and it's cooler in the fall, perfect for exploring! Summer can be really hot and humid in Louisiana, so bring water if you go then. Plus, the museum is nice and cool inside regardless of the weather!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule your ticket! Just make sure to call them or check their website for the specific policy. They’re pretty flexible, especially if you contact them ahead of time. It's best to give them at least a few days' notice if possible, but they understand things happen!

Thinking about gifting the Great River Road Museum tickets!
I’m considering getting tickets for my parents for their anniversary. They love history and I think they'd really enjoy seeing the original Mr. Bingle and all the Mardi Gras stuff! Plus, the gardens look beautiful. Has anyone been? Any tips?
Got to see the Great River Road Museum last weekend!
Wow, just wow! The Napoleon's Death Mask was creepy but super cool. The exhibits are really well done, and we spent a good few hours there. The gardens were beautiful even in late summer. If anyone's thinking about going, do it! You won't regret it!
