Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this UTV tour? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: Yes, kids can join the UTV tour, but they need to be at least 8 years old to ride along. The guides are great with kids and make sure everyone has a blast while being safe. Just remember to bring along some sunscreen and hats for the desert sun!

Q: What should we wear for the UTV tour? Is there dust or is it pretty clean?

A: Definitely wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty! Opt for long sleeves and pants if you can. The UTVs kick up a lot of sand and dust. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and don’t forget sunglasses since the sun can be pretty harsh out there. They provide helmets and goggles, so you’re covered there!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate. They typically allow changes up to 24 hours before the tour. Just give them a call or send an email to let them know. It’s a desert, so sometimes those storms roll in unexpectedly!

Just did the Dinosaur Tracks UTV tour in Greater Zion – what a blast!

I went on the Dinosaur Tracks tour last weekend, and it was incredible! The guides were super knowledgeable about the history of the area, and the dinosaur tracks were so cool to see up close. We started at Sand Hollow State Park, and the UTVs were really easy to handle. If you’re thinking about it as a gift, I say go for it! Just keep an eye on the weather, though.

Thinking of gifting the UTV tour for my husband's birthday!

I’m considering this UTV tour for my husband’s birthday since he loves the outdoors. Has anyone done it? I’m curious about the level of difficulty. Would it be a good fit for someone who might not have much off-roading experience? Also, how long is the tour usually?
