A: Yes, you need to be at least 16 years old to drive the ATV. If your gift recipient is younger, they can still join as a passenger, but they must be at least 5 years old. It's a great family experience if you have teens!
A: Definitely wear sturdy shoes, like sneakers or hiking boots. The ride can get dusty and muddy, so I'd suggest wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Also, bring some sunscreen and sunglasses since you’ll be out in the sun a lot!
A: The meeting point is usually in the Kona area, and there’s plenty of parking available. If you’re staying in Hilo, it’s about a 1.5-hour drive over, so plan accordingly. You can also check if they offer any pickup options—some tours do!

Just did the Green Sands Adventure ATV ride, and it was epic!
I booked the ATV ride for me and my partner while we were on the Big Island, and it was such a blast! We got to explore some secluded spots and the scenery was beautiful. The guides were super friendly and made sure we were safe while having fun. We drove through some pretty challenging terrain, but it was all manageable. Totally worth the money for the experience! Can’t wait to go back!
