Q&A

Q: What if it rains on the day of the walking tour? Do they cancel?

A: Great question! They usually run the tour rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad, they might reschedule. I recommend checking with Epic Walking Tours a day or two before. Bring an umbrella just in case!

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I'm thinking of gifting it to my kids.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s best for ages 12 and up since the content can be heavy at times. My teen loved it, and the history is super engaging!

Q: How far do you walk on this tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: The tour covers about 1.5 miles, so it’s not too strenuous, but you’ll be on your feet for the full two hours. Wear comfortable shoes! There are some breaks, but you’ll want to be prepared to walk around.

Just did the Greenwich Village walking tour and loved it!

I went on the Greenwich Village Historic Walking Tour last weekend and it was awesome! The guide shared some really cool stories about famous people from the area, and the history was super fascinating. We didn’t get the pizza upgrade, but I heard the pizza stops are worth it. The full two hours flew by! Definitely recommend it to anyone interested in NYC history.

Thinking of gifting the Greenwich Village tour!

I’m considering giving the Greenwich Village Walking Tour as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves history and NYC. Has anyone done the pizza upgrade? Is it worth it? Also, what’s the best time of year to do this tour? Any tips would be great!
