Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but the hike is suitable for kids 6 and up, especially since it’s about 3.5 miles long. It’s family-friendly, so if your kids are used to walking and can handle moderate difficulty, they should be fine! Just make sure they’re equipped with comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
A: You'll have free parking at the Greek Theater, which is super convenient! Just make sure to follow the posted signs. It can get crowded, especially on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Also, consider carpooling if you're going with friends to save space!
A: If the weather looks sketchy, you can reschedule for a different day! The tour company is pretty accommodating, but make sure to give them a heads up as early as you can. Just check their policy when you book, and it should all be clear!

Thinking about gifting the Griffith Observatory Hike!
Hey everyone! I’m planning to get this Griffith Observatory hike experience as a gift for my sister. She's been wanting to check out LA and the Hollywood Sign. I love that it includes a tour of the observatory too! How's the hike? Is it doable for someone who doesn't hike much? Any tips?
Just did the Griffith Park hike - SO WORTH IT!
I just got back from the Griffith Observatory hike and wow, what an experience! The views of the Hollywood Sign were amazing, and the guide shared some cool stories about the observatory. It's a great way to spend a few hours outdoors. If you have a camera, bring it! You’ll want to snap tons of pics.
