A: There’s no specific age limit for Chef Steven's grilling class, but I would recommend it for ages 16 and up. Younger teens might have some trouble with the grilling techniques and handling equipment safely. It's a great bonding experience for families though!

A: Definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy! An apron is a must, and maybe closed-toe shoes since you'll be around hot grills. Chef Steven tends to get a bit adventurous with flavors, so expect to have some fun with sauces and spices!

A: Yes, Chef Steven is pretty flexible with rescheduling as long as you give him a heads-up at least a week in advance. He wants everyone to have a chance to enjoy the class! Just shoot him an email and he’ll work with you to find another date.

I’m considering this grilling class in Portland for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves BBQ but has never really taken a formal class. Just finished the grilling class, and wow!

I just took Chef Steven’s grilling techniques class and it was amazing! So much variety in the dishes, and he really breaks down the science behind grilling. We cooked ribs, veggies, and even a dessert! Highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it. Worth every penny!
