We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the Groovy Gettysburg Scavenger Hunt?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it’s recommended for ages 12 and up. Younger kids can definitely join, especially if they have an adult with them to help out. Just keep in mind that some clues may require a bit of creative thinking. So if you’re bringing younger kids, maybe prep them a bit beforehand!

Q: How does the leaderboard system work? Can teams from different cities compete?

A: The leaderboard is super fun! Teams compete against each other no matter where they are, so it really feels like a global challenge. You earn points based on how quickly you complete the tasks and your creativity in interpreting clues. It adds a cool competitive twist to the hunt!

Q: What do we wear for the scavenger hunt? Any weather considerations?

A: Definitely dress for the weather since you’ll be outside exploring! Comfortable shoes are a must because you'll be walking a lot. Layering is a good idea too, especially if it’s chilly in the morning. And if rain is in the forecast, maybe bring a light rain jacket just in case.

Wow, what a great experience! We discovered some hidden gems around Gettysburg that we’d never seen before. The live host was super engaging, and we loved the competitive aspect with the leaderboard. Definitely going to do this again and try to beat our score next time!
