A: Yes, there is a minimum age requirement of about 8 years old for the group surf lessons at Pro Surf School Hawaii. It's a great family activity, but younger kids will need to be accompanied by an adult. The instructors are super patient and they really know how to get kids excited about surfing!

Q: What should I wear for the surf lesson? Do they provide wetsuits?

A: You don’t need a wetsuit since the water in Waikiki is pretty warm, but I’d recommend wearing a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard if you’re worried about sunburn. Pro Surf School provides all the necessary surf gear, including boards and leashes. Just bring your sunscreen and a towel!
